Biography
Gutierrez Medeiros was born in the city of Salvador - Bahia,
Brazil where he started in music at age 8 playing drums
and percussion, and at a very young age he was present in samba circles with artists such as Dom Ratinho, Nelson Rufino and other Bahian samba artists.
The artist has played and recorded with several bands such as Chica fé, Mambolada, Luiz Caldas, Carlinhos Brown, Zé Paulo, etc.
Gutierrez was greatly influenced by his father, Dom
Ratinho, composer and musician from Bahia.
Listener to many musical styles such as: jazz, Samba, Axé, forró, Bossa Nova and others, this contributed greatly to his musical career both as an artist, multi-instrumentalist and music producer.
Gutierrez expanded his musical career by playing and
recording with several artists such as Carlinhos Brown, Bullfrog band where he participated in 11 jazz festivals
international in Canada where he also recorded
his first solo CD Minha Luz with 10 original songs.
The singer has more than a million plays on Spotify and is always releasing new songs.
